OFFER## WHAT WE OFFER

#### DevOps support

Implement and maintain efficient, tailored software delivery for your products.

#### DevOps consulting

Improve existing CI/CD pipelines and provide consultations on the best practices.

details## Technical details

By offering DevOps as a Service, we cover all DevOps-related activities based on our hybrid outsourcing model, combining an external DevOps team, platform engineering, and container-driven collaboration with your software developers. It assumes the following works:

Introducing and maintaining all required **Open Source server software and cloud services** to establish Kubernetes-based software delivery workflows on any infrastructure, from bare-metal servers to private and public cloud providers. Migrating your existing workloads there.

Designing as well as implementing **CI/CD workflows** for building, testing, releasing, deploying, and running your containerised software using a preferred CI system (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Cloud Native tools, such as Helm, Argo CD, werf, etc.

Ensuring **DevOps best practices** throughout your CI/CD pipelines: automatic caching, reproducible builds, rebuilding and redeploying only modified software components, smart container registry cleanup, and detailed deployment feedback.

Providing developers with fully automated solution enabling **easy-to-use software deployment** and other features, such as dynamic preview environments.

Supporting your software delivery process and all involved engineers over the **8×5 work week**, with guaranteed SLA.

**Consulting** your software and QA engineers on CI/CD best practices, software containerisation, Cloud Native architecture, and anything related to using containers and Kubernetes.

outcome## outcome

A well-maintained, secure, **efficient software delivery** process based on the Open Source software and industry best practices.

Ongoing **DevOps assistance**, involving tight cooperation with your development team.

#### Business value

Better product delivery and overall customer experience with faster time to market, improved product reliability and superior quality. Reduced operating costs thanks to the outsourcing of non-core competencies.

origins## Frequent origins

Launch a new startup or new software/digital services in an existing organisation.

Eliminate longstanding DevOps-related issues that affect product delivery, performance, or reliability.

Growing business with in-house engineers no longer able to handle DevOps tasks.

Replace a quitting DevOps engineer or your current DevOps-as-a-Service agency.

## FAQ

Who will be working on my project?

A dedicated team that includes a project manager and team leader. All people involved are located in the EU, with 95% based in Ulm.

What grade do your engineers have?

All engineers are middle+, which is ensured by our strict hiring process. Their experience is backed up by years of working with various projects, certifications, public tech talks, and articles published on our blog.

How will we communicate?

Our interactions include continuous Slack messages, weekly video meetings, and monthly reports. Current tasks are always available on the Kanban board.

Will I be able to adjust the amount of work?

Yes. Decreasing the amount is up to your needs. Increasing it is possible, but it depends on the availability of our resources.

Can I cancel the subscription when I want?

Yes. You’ll just need to make a prior termination notice.

Will I be able to use the infrastructure after we terminate our agreement?

Absolutely! From the very beginning, we will follow the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approach and perform our work in your Git, which will always stay with you. We’re also happy to teach your engineers to use, maintain, and improve these configurations efficiently.

We use only Open Source software by default (i.e., unless something else is requested and explicitly approved). We have several teams in Palark, and they share common configurations built on best practices and our experience, battle-tested in numerous setups. While still opinionated, such configurations are easier to understand and maintain than what a single engineer typically produces.
